may be some one can do a video how to ftp your cccam lines into the duo

Hi -I have today flashed the latest Vix image onto my Duo..

and downloaded cccam 2.2.1 (is this the right one, BTW).

Anyway, now I am trying to use DCC to ftp the cccam.cfg file to my pc for editing...which is something I have done ok before.

But I cannot find my cccam.cfg file in var etc (or anywhere else) - is there an install cccam step that I have missed here?

Cheers

D

Hi buddy,
you have got the right version of cccam and the cfg goes in /etc
not var/etc in enigma 2 based images.

CrazyFool.

does it matter which cccam you have? can this effect what channels you get or viewing ?

Hi Thanks

I have made a cccam.cfg file and it is in in the right place...and I'm sure the cccam.cfg text is correct and saved ok....

but if I click the green "start" button in the 'Softcam setup" menu, I get the error message:-

"No Config files found, please setup CCcam first in /etc/CCcam.cfg

Is there some particular way to start the softccam?

Any tips welcome,

thanks in advance, D

Thanks Charlie, tho is that in reply to my post #49?

sorry if daft question but is that a cccam.cfg file....I saw elsewhere that we only need one line in a cccam.cfg file?

Or , where do you put all that info in your Duo (I have vix image)

TA

D

Yes you just copy and paste the Cline into the cccam.cfg. Most of the time it's just one line.

Download and install filezilla then
you need to get the i.p address of the box from the network settings and input that into host then in username input root and leave password blank

click connect

your folder will show that are on the box

from there double click etc and it will open and then drag in the cfg file

done

OOOPs...I had the capital "C" problem...my cccam.cfg file was not correctly saved (as CCcam.cfg) !

So the VuDuo softcam manager does now see it!
I don't know about the settings mentioned by Charley tho.

Cheers

D

The settings in that config will work as server or a client.
I you are just a client add your cline to the bottom.
