I feel like a noob all over again, it's been such a long time since I had a cable receiver.......

Anyway...
I have the VU+ Duo2
1xDVB-S and 1xDVB-C Tuners.

I'm getting a very blocky cable picture on movie and a few other channels, signal comes straight from the VM splitter
that shares TV with Modem, then to the STB.

I remember getting the same issue with my ITgate moons ago, but I can't for the life of me remember the fix.

Will a DB filter fix it?

It could be to little or too much signal strength.

Does you image allow you to view the signal strength in db ?

If so what signal strength go you have ?

Thanks for the reply.

I'm getting....
SNR 74% (but every now and then drops to 0% and looses lock)
AGC 46%
BER 119

That's on the worst affected transponders.

Too low mate at 74% but the reading in db would of been better however 74% i dont feel is enough for a reliable lock.

Youll need a signal booster.
