Are these signal boosters any good...?

They seem cheap enough on eBay, but it worth the hassle of logging in and paying...! ;)

I've had to go back to my old 6230i because my new 6120 is absolute shite for signal... It's hardly ever connecting to the network. But it's nowt to do with Virgin because my missus is with them as well, and her phone never drops out at all, and if put the sim back into my old 6230i everything is hunky-dory again.

It's really pissing me off now.... (Nokia's have never let me down before, I always gone for them.)

Nokia just say do a factory reset, which I've done, times, and bearly makes a difference.

Any ideas....???

Took the plunge in the end, and bought a pack of two of these things for a quid fifty from eBay, and so far, so good...

Fingers crossed...

Boosters

I have used them time and time again.

I am unsure if they work, but they cause no harm

Seem to have been a success for me so far... Finger crossed and all that..!

Sorry mate, I only just noticed your reply to my thread, pointing to your question here :)

Sorry im too late, I always found those signal boosters pointless, it depends on what type they are though, there are some that plug into some of the handsets and provide a proper aerial, the others are just a sticker with a metal coil which they say amplifies the signal... Ive never known them to work, I did once have 5000 I got for free, I ended up giving them away with all our online orders after a while I got so fed up of them I used to stuff about 20 in with each order :)

I may still have some about, if you need one or if anyone else needs any :)
