As I just have vermin broadband I'm just after checking connection going to modem.
Theres only one cable coming from white box to the modem.

Are these the correct splitters and connectors?

Cheers Joe.
One other thing I will be taking my 2s out and replacing it with H2.
The 2s is twin tuner. The H2 is one sat and one cable feed.
Can it be used like a twin tuner?

IE.....
record on sat and cable at same time?

correct splitter to use is 5-1000mhz tratec as used by vm,5-2400mhz could let interference in and more likely your highest frequency maybe no higher than 800.

good quality short made up cables with crimped fittings are better.

Not Crimped fittings either should be 'Compression' Fittings used and tightened to just over hand tight, Many people dont have a problem with standard 'F' connection fittings i think its all down to how sensitive your original install is and how prone to noise it can be.

thats the word i forgot compression fittings, and more different sizes when choosing cable and fittings.i also bought this and a few connectors ready and waiting.
