Buying:- Humax-HDR-1000S-Freetime-Receiver

Looking at getting rid of Sky got the whole package from Sky but offer just finished (75%discount), don't really watch many of the premium stuff, just tends to be on in the back ground.
So have decided to look at PVR's ready to replace the Sky box, so jump in with your view before end of Jan if you can help.

Looking at the Humax HDR 1000S as I have the dish (obviously) and it looks like its better to go the Freesat over Freeview? Is this right/why.

Also I am looking to use the Humax to stream my movie collection from a NAS and it looks like its capable of doing this, anybody use it for a streamer? and how have you got on (use a ATV2 at present).
Finally am I missing anything? Can I get more from it or Should I look elsewhere?

Agree with the above if your wanting to stream from a NAS drive a linux box of some sort is a must.

Quick off topic question, I sold a humax box online and the buyer apparently did not receive it. Can I block the receiver by reporting to humax?
