As per title really, do you think it'll ever happen?

why didnt they in the first place? something to do with sky being tw@ts?

do you think that, due to the fact they are losing money, will the extra revenue joining sky would bring be too tempting for them??

without a doubt ITV HD will joing all other platforms

@ the moment its exclusive so it sells freesat boxs

so your saying that itv are using their hd service as a way of drawing people in to getting on board of their part owned freesat platform? then say in a year or so if freesat is well established like freeview is then they'll go elsewhere??

I would say thats what there doing

who knows how long it stays exclusive to freesat ? 6 months,1 year,2 years ??

Probably holding out to see if Sky will pay their carriage fees - surprising though with Sky being a major shareholder in ITV :)

is this meant to be available to sky or just a mishap and will be fixed ?

When it comes down to it the sky box is just another sat box. As long as its capable of handling the HD streamdata then it will display the channel (as long as there is no encryption).

Have a feeling its a cheeky stunt by sky.

HD champions league on sky boxs now.

as I said in post #2 it was always going to become avalible on all platforms sooner or later
I just didnt think it would be so quick

it does make you think though most previous football (HD) had sound dropouts, last night it was avalible to sky viewers and no sound dropouts and some of the clearest HD pictures ITVHD has shown

I agree, its a funny coincidence isnt it :) Amazing what sky upload facilities can fix and correct with a click of their Fonzerelly fingers.....lol

BTW its not all sky-hd receivers just yet, as its only the ones with new firmware, but the new firmware should be on all hd receivers within a few weeks (I think). I have a Thomson but mine wasnt one of the lucky ones upgraded yet :(
