yeah the sim is free but they make you buy a top up to activate it. im a tight arse and was hoping for one of the free ons you could get with a fiver already on. i only need it for a few days while my phone goes in for repair but it llooks like this is what i will have to do as the only spare phone i have is locked to 3 and my current phone is on orange

i wil never go back to 3 no matter how ceap they are u can be on the phone then it drops bcos orange take the line for them as they share with orange

If you live in london go at new covent gardens market (near station vauxall) on sunday there are sold there for 50p each new!!! I got 10 now...

I got mine from ebay £1.20 a place called seylectric I think

if three shares their network with orange how come when my partners orange network goes down i can still pick up three? on both my three phone and my mobile broadband modem.

Because they only use orange as a fallback if you are out of range of a 3 transmitter.

Cheers, Des.

I got a 3 payg sim via hot uk deals a week or so ago. When registered you also get £10 of credit. Worth having a look to see if it's still a current freebie.
