Just seen a new box out that has Android support as well and Enigma 2

for 66 quid cant go wrong

interested to see how Android performs compared to the Android TV boxs

WOS are doing them for £63.
Well worth a look at that price.

Had a little play with the SE box...

Tuner/power seems to be better as it worked with usals moving motorised dish (had problem with original h9s)

Multi-boot up to 4 images

E2 + Android dual boot works well

Works like any other android device, side-load apps
Not had chance to stream anything for long, performance was fine with YouTube.

TV Portal app is like a mini E2 app for android to manage satellite, plugins, emus, watch live tv
It's possible to use E2 channel lists within android - but still trying to work out how

All in all not a bad box

I hope this is a totally new box as the original H9S was utter garbage.

Had on and got rid very quickly.
What was wrong with yours ?, I have one works fine FTA Sat and Jedi's

Was fed up of the constant spinning circle when asked to do anything. Like recording playing back a recording, adding a channel list. Random reboots. The usb 3 port never worked with USB3 external hdds and would not read NTFS drives but could just about use older hard drives, RCA ports didnt give out any audio. There were loads of issues in the early days all driver related and well publicised on various forums, these could of been cleared up now.

The big issue for me it would not move my dish reliably one day it would then the next not, the motor it was using i tried a couple mind was a stabb mount know for its low amperage usage combined with a Titanium LNB again not power hungry i always use ct125 low loss coax and it was on a mere 35ft run. Every other box ive ever had never had a problem moving my dishes. Blind scan was also crap missing lots of Tp's older boxes managed and the tuner itself was not a very sensitive one slightly borderline signal and it didnt want to know where boxes like an old 800se pissed it.

Dog of a box Freeview just about its level.

Not possible to use E2 lists on the android totally different operating system

Ah right, touch wood I've never had those issues and my other Zgemma drives the dish so I've never tried it. You must have had a sh#t box or faulty somewhere along the line.
I'm looking at upgrading mine as I like the thought of the android+Sat for the upstairs TV.

you can if you wanted to on this box ;)

1) have saved e2 channel/bouquet from E-Channelizer
2) boot to android image
3) in web browser enter IP address for box (OpenWebif)
4) OpenWebif->BouquetEditor->Export (may need unlock the address in the Pop Blocker)
5) will save/download file i.e. "bouquets_backup"
6) open file "bouquets_backup.tar" with 7-zip
7) in opened file archive goto folder etc\enigma2\
8) remove files, add saved e2 files from (1) into archive
9) close/save archive
10) OpenWebif->BouquetEditor->Import (bouquets_backup.tar file)
11) android->tv portal->watch live tv (using e2 channel list)
