Zgemma H2H and MT7601u wifi Adapter - not working

I have a wifi adapter based on the mt7601u chipset however does not work

Running Open ATV 6.4 updated as of today (31/10/2021)

I have downloaded the driver as below (rebooted after install)

network-usb-mt7601u (r1,0-r2)

running lusb I can see the device

Any ideas if this can be fixed so I can use the wifi adapter

reflashed with a fresh image still same issue

Was the image you tried still openatv try another group.

Also telnet install the driver you have.

just tried, the wifi adapter didnt get recognised and no error in the dmesg

the one above is v1 where as the feed has v2

I know but the feed version is not working or you may have a duff adaptor so id say try another image group with the driver i supplied as i know that one works from first hand experience.

I have tried 2 adapters both different makes but same chipset works on a laptop, just on box it crashes when trying to load the driver

I get same issue with Pure E2 image

any other image I can try

Try that but it is not looking good is it ?
