you know i didnt watch much tv as a kid i was one of them now extinct creatures who was out playing all the time.

the few i can remember watching..... he-man, the professionals, the a team, cities of gold, monkey magic,

we used to go out and play "the professionals" as i had a.. i suppose you'd call it a toy set of it, it was a breifcase with gun id cards spy specs ect....

there was three of us me my mate and my brother, but as you know there was only 2 main men - bodie and doyle, i was bodie my mate was doyle my brother had to play as cowley the old man lmao.....


was more into playing outside and toys than tv..... my dirtburner bmx and the evel knievel wind up bike ruled my world back then.

Take Hart with Morph, the Red hand gang and Brendon Chase were ones me and my brother use to love watching.

you know i didnt watch much tv as a kid i was one of them now extinct creatures who was out playing all the time.

Same here !

Didn't really have TV till I was about 10 and then we were only allowed to watch it on special occasions. It was considered something for the adults to use once the kids were sent to bed !

tbh though, as it was something I never had I never actually missed it. I always thought of it as something the oldies did - a bit like "bingo!"

Loved Mr Ben, and the Banana Splits, the Banana Splits used to be on Saturday mornings, after Champion the Wonder Horse and Zorro lol

When I was a bit older I used to love The Comic Strip series, I must have taped the whole series and watched it over and over again.
 
I don't know whether I had a favourite, but I remember watching the 80's 'classics' Thundercats, Count Duckula, Duck Tales, Muppet Babies, Transformers, Button Moon, Trap Door etc.

All hold a certain nostalgic value...
 
Maid Marian and her Merry Men - Simon and The Witch - Super Gran - that one about rag dolls in a factory!! must have been hundreds...
