xbox one s - no power

Got an XBox One S that when power pressed, it beeps once and does not turn on

also can hear the dvd drive making a noise

any ideas what could cause this

Not sure what causes it but try this, take out the power lead then press and hold the power button then power lead back in

2) Turning on then off/Not turning on at all. Many Xbox's had faulty power bricks, but some also have had faulty Southbridge chips and/or faulty components on the power rail that cause them to not turn on at all or turn on then back off.
