VU+ Duo X duo

Hi have a X duo, I think it is bricked it has a red light on at the front, it is responding to the remote when I press the power button on the remote the light turn blue and then back to red, I have tried to upgrade it by usb. RS232 and LAN no luck please help.

Before you panic what events lead to this did you reflash or update the image online ?

Try another PSU and if that does not work try reflashing using various usb stick these boxes can be picky.

If none of the above work it could be bricked and jtagging may be the only solution left to you, you will need the correct bootloader for you clone but there is a thread here on another duo clone the ibox that will help with that.

That's the only place i can see for jtag.

Pinouts under the board should be the same.

The procedure is the same you just need th xduo bootloader.

Ive just read these use Ferrari Images and security chip so you could try this

It is totaly different then the cloud ibox 4 the bottom looks lik this.

I have tried the rs232 cable it is not resonding to it.

That is the nand flash so yeah but you still need the correct bootloader for this clone and sadly there is not that much info about on this.

It will be clone specific it may use the Ferrari duo clone bootloader as this seems to accept Ferrari images but i can not say for sure as there id little info about on this clone. But trying the Ferrari duo clone ssl wont make the situation any worse.
