WS_32.dll file invalid or missing ?

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone can help with this problem. I have had an error message flash up on windows saying that my (WS_32.dll) file is invalid or missing please re-install windows or get a new version of the file has any one got a copy of this file as i can not get connected to the internat at home to download it. And do not really want to re-install windows if i dont have too. Im running windos XP Home Edition.

Any help greatly received.

do a google search 4 the file then copy and paste it to c:\windows\system32 folder

dont no wether this will help you m8 but click START/RUN and type: SFC /SCANNOW
it checks your system and repairs files.
your windows XP cd required though.
