Wrong Username or Password

I've just bought a new laptop which is running Vista home. I was setting up my NAS drive and when i tried to map the drive the box came up with Username and Password.I entered them but it says wrong username or pass.
The username and pass are correct and i can login into the NAS via a web browser. Any ideas why this is happening ?

Hiya m8. It's a nas drive enclosure. I got it from Maplin it is Working ok on xp using default admin admin. but saying wrong user\pass on Vista

Mostly likely due to a change in the default security settings in Vista which stops sending the passwords in the old LM format. I suspect your NAS box is using linux with SAMBA.

I was having a similiar problem trying to connect to XBMC which also uses SAMBA.
