Will be moving to Spain in a few months time so we are
Starting to look for the right sat nav to take. which I add I know
Nothing about yet !!! So it will give me a bit of time to play around with it
would you say the tom tom
Is best to go for or would you recommend another model ???
Also do all sat nav’s have a on off switch for the speed cams. As in Spain
You will get a fine if police stop you and you have the speed cam detector on
They can tell if you go passed a speed gun!!!!!!
Regards

The tomtoms are very user friendly and would not change it for any of the other makes. I tryed the navman and found it hard to use.

i have just updated garmin i3 with latest maps that will cover spain and you just load the speed cams for that country but i dont know where you can find them.try googleing it. good luck

Hi there,

I have used destinator (lite & full version), Navman and Tomtom and with out doubt I would choose the Tomtom.

Reason's:- Starts on the pda the quickest, gets a lock on satellites the quickest, uses full postcode search, easiest to incorporate speed cam poi's and finally it shuts down the quickest and without lock ups of the Pda (thus far).:eater:

Hi mate I have used Route 66, tomtom 3-6 and destinator again I would say TomTom is the easist to use and has the most updates and tweaks available also used tomtom 6 recently in spain no probs at all and you can switch off the speadcams in the menus
