wireless network only part working

can anyone help me
i have my n*l broadband modem connected to a netgear wireless router wired to my pc and 2 pc's in kids rooms have wireless network cards in them was all set up and running ok but now only 1 wireless connection working checked settings on both wireless connections and they are identical, pc not getting connection shows wireless icon on taskbar as good signal and also connection icon ranges from good to poor, i cannot ping this pc from any of the others and i cannot ping router from this pc connection status shows sending packets but nor receiving any

Have you got WEP enabled, and had incorrectly put the wrong keys in?

i checked that, i even removed the keys and put them back into both machines but still only one working

yes they are both set to infrastructure,
the rooms are next door to each other so i don't think its a signal prob. but maybe i'm wrong
