wireless connection bt help

no internet light on my wireless router 2091 bt model bt say the line is fine, followed instrutions to the letter . pc connects to router ok put in password username in router but wont connect we get adsl light on but no internet light on . tryed a friends old wired bt 205 got connected straight away so we thought its a faulty router so then got new belkin wireless router but still no internet light on it. all micro filters are in place ok we tryed plugging router straight into filter then straight into phone line no extention leads or nothing but still no dsl/internet light , yet we get connection with wired doing my nut in !

if getting connected by wire,maybe a problem with your wireless set up,not matching up or wep code not entered correctly,have you searched for other wireless routers in your area to see whether you can see them? that's if you are attempting to use wireless that is.

given up mate just going to get new wired modem we have had enough never had so much trouble before !( ive set up half a dozen but this took the piss)
