hi ive just got a willem 3.1 i know it connects by a 25 pin d cable but i dont have a 25 pin port on the back of my pc can anyone tell me if i can buy a 25 pin to usb or 25 pin to rs232 adapter to get this running or do i need to fit a pci slot with a 25 pin connection thanks

I think it would be far easier to stick a pci parallel port in a spare slot on your motherboard if you have one!! There are converters that will change the connection from serial to parallel but im sure they need software running to do the job and that might not help with the running of the willem!!!

Im not 100% sure but
usb has a timing issue (infinity usb is an example)which may cause probs
So i would advise getting a pci card
