Not entirely true, I bought a samsung s4 mini @ christmas 2014 direct from Three and it was locked

although they did unlock it (took just over a week) the phone was Three Branded

Maybe I was unlucky and got old stock prior to the dec 2012, but it was a popular phone so I doubt it ?

Just thought I would post and let you know that you "may" get a locked phone on Three

Or like I said I was just unlucky, well it wasnt just me tbh there were many on HDUK saying the same thing lol

Maybe Three have now changed this I dont know as I havent bought no more from them
