Loadiine is a WiiU homebrew. It launches WiiU game backups from SD card.
Its Graphical User Interface is based on the WiiU GX2 graphics engine.
It's currently offline mode only, it doesn't allow you to play games online.
This homebrew is developed by @dimok, who worked on the previous loadiine version 2.0 to 4.0 too.
He was also the main developer of USBLoaderGX and WiiXplorer on Wii.
Loadiine GX2 is currently compatible with
WiiU v4.1.0 (NOT all games are working with 4.x)
Ready for any future 5.5.x kernel exploit release:
NO, it's NOT COMPATIBLE with 5.5.x without a 5.5.x kernel exploit. The 5.5.x exploit is unreleased!! Read the faq at the bottom.
you can now Napster m8 , im looking for a cheep wii u so i can have a play about
The IOSU is done, so they say, but we won't see it unless tendo patch the exploit so we're stuck with loadiine and SD card loading times 'til then afaik.
Older SD card loading times can be really slow so I'd recommend a UHS 3 SD card til the IOSU and USB access are released.
I run a kernel exploit from an ezshare WiFi SD card acting as the webserver and have an SD card with the Loadiine elf file and games in the wiiu, if that makes sense.
I do it this way so there's no chance of it connecting to the web and updating the firmware from 5.3.2
You can run a webserver to serve up the kernel expliot in the same way via a phone, tablet, PC ... anything with WiFi really if that's easier for you.
The webserver files and exploit are all in the www folder of the Loadiine gx2 beta o.2 pack btw so you can copy the whole www folder from the pack to your webserver (ezshare card) and point the wiiu browser to the index.html file twice to run the exploit and then start Loadiine via the same addy (1 bookmark).
Good news for those with the newer 5.5.x firmwares
A kernel exploit has been leaked so you can run Loadiine too
