wii news channel error code

Just got a wii console for my son's birthday.
When I i try to connect to the news channel i get:
unable to download the latest information

Error Code: 107245

I did manage to update the software through my wireless so it talks to the net

And i also get Error Code: 107305 for the weather channel

Any idea?

Can you connect to any of the other online services - the wii shop for example?

And yes i can access the shopping channel. Downlaoding some freebies at the moment.

From what I've read about this error online, it sounds like a wireless router issue or interference from another wireless device on the same channel as the Wii, but it's odd that you can get to the shop!

Try rebooting your router and trying again.

I can definitely download stuff from the shop.

I did a sotware upgrade on my ADSL netgear router: bingo!!

It looks like i now have full internet fonctionality with it.:Clap:
