wii games not working on mine

Hi all

hope you can help

I lent some games of my cousin they would not work I copied them only one worked the rest did not but the other ones worked on my friends wii no problem any ideas................it says unable to read disk................is it something to do with mario kart it asked me to update which is what I did.

is console up to date (3.2E is latest)

your question is a little misunderstanding, as to what works on what console!

Some 'chippers' are now disabling NTSC support when they install the chips so that people cannot brick their consoles when using updates from the wrong region.

I suspect that your cousin has some NTSC games which will work on a chip with multiregion enabled but obviously not on one with it turned off. Download a PAL version of one of your games and try that.
