Win 10 WiFi Password

Hi, went to my girlfriends earlier as she's experiencing slow wifi speed using a Virgin Superhub 3, I have the exact same hub and I'm getting great speeds, so I wanted to test a few things, however I cannot connect to her wifi, my laptop can see her hub but when I click it and it asks for the security key I cannot enter it, tried copy paste, Ctrl C + Ctrl V but no text enters the box, rebooted the laptop, reset her hub, nothing, my android phone lets me add the security key so obviously a windows issue, what am I doing wrong?

Have you tried the WPS button? (Assuming it's enabled.)

I know this only bypasses the problem, rather than fixes it; but hopefully this is a one off for you.

right click and forget network.
then search for netwworks again.

maybe your laptop has incorrect key stored.

little_pob, yes tried the WPS button, no joy

buzzer, you can't right click and forget but I know what you're on about, it's a bit more in-depth to access, I'll give that a try next time I'm round

next time take an ethernet cable and connect directly, then you can log into the hub and check the wireless settings.
