whats the best chip ?

anyone know the best chip out for the wii and are all chips software programmable or are alot copy protected ?

from what Ive read Mickie it seems to be the wiikey
thats upadateable via cd so Ive been reading
Im thinking of modding mine but not to confident on the soldering lol

hmm if u want to get a chip for free

then i would recommend wii free

at the moment its region free, plays all backups and orignals and *could* be update able via cd

im using it and it does the job perfect to what i need run backups....lol

other wise its a wii free

and the offer is open to rest of forum if the pads on the board are ok and u are well kind trusted if u know what i mean

and u cover postage and send chip down

either a wii free or wii key

or if u want i could stick a wii free in there for £6 for just chip programmed and installed with wires soldered directly to chip (risky) or £10 on circuit board with led installed but it will hang out the back on a small track board pcb with a blue led flashing

ive got a wiikey and it works great on gc games and wii games of pal region on my pal machine, and usa ones work great when patched
