what should i buy

mp pc has gone tits up my old pc has a 120gb harddrive and a 160gb hd
a 256ddr memory radeon 9600 graphics card 700+mb sdram
should i buy a new higher spec one or buy a lower spec one and use what i have

If you're not into serious gaming pipehose, I think you could recycle what you have and save yourself a lot of cash.

So really you only need a m/board and cpu plus some ddr memory and you'll have a ha;f decent system again.

What sort of funds you looking at spending ? Always a good place to start.

i start with excatly what i have a 160 anda 120 gb hard drives a ddr 256 memory graphics card...and 768 mb sdram my processor is a p4 2000
which imight need or the motherboard

what i would like in a new pc would be aall of the above and dvd writer
should i buy the bits to fix or buy a cheap pc and put my bits in it i would prob spend 600 on a new pc if it had all i neeed without putting any of my bits in ir or maybe putting one of the hardrives in it

I would just replace the faulty parts for what you use it for, dvd multilayer burners cheap as chips as well.

I would upgrade your memory so both are ddr
