What is the best sealent to use?

Hi all,

I was just wondering what the best sealent is to use on the outside wall to fill the whole in that I drill.
I noticed my previous place that I was renting and had sky they had used a clear sealent.
Is there any which are better than others? Or like most things in life most brands are the same etc.

Most brands of sealant are nearly all the same, its just mainly down to wot colour u want, i usually use clear it dosnt stand out as much.

I thought as much, I was thinking of using a clear one. Toolstation looks quite reasonable.
