What is the best freesat HD box out there? and does it have a PVR?

there are unofficial PVRs out there but they are over priced and don't carry the freesat epg

there will be 2 PVRs one from humax and one from a new freesat addition METRONIC

Humax pvr is expected around Christmas time

if you cant wait and want a non PVR now get a Humax Foxsat HD box Chris all the little bugs have been sorted now and the box is great

About how many channels do you get?

with the Humax you can scan for non freesat channels that can bring in 350+ channels m8
check my sticky in this section

also there is a secret section in the Humax where it can be made multi sat
ill search that now for you
how good it works Ive no idea

Got a top-up tv box instead for the time being, it comes with free setanta for the season.

Cancelled sly, they did not seem to care - Glad I did now fooking coonts!

I am going to wait until the PVR version comes out then get the freesat

Im also going to upgrade to PVR,have the quad lnb and dual cable ready in place

think I still woud of gone for freesat just for the HD content up until christmas
there is no set date for PVR so it could possibly run into the following year (I hope not though) lol

and you can sell the HD box on the bay
still you got it now and as long as your happy

1 question, where do I find out what is in HD on ITV? I can find the bbc listings but not ITV

ITV are terrible at listing there HD content they do list some on there HD page and you may see some in there listing when you click on a programme you may see (sub) (HD) etc but not all the time

Ive found a guy on a forum that seems to work for ITV and gets listings sometimes 2 weeks in advanced

here is what Ive found upto now

Mon 11th 9pm Superhuman: World's Smallest People
Mon 11th 10.40pm MP: Unleased
Thu 14th Harley Street
Sat 16th 4.45pm Film: The Mummy Returns
Mon 18th 9pm Superhuman: Genius
Thu 21st 9pm Harley Street
