What foreign languages can you speak?

Can read and write and speak fluent English and Bengali. Can read fluent Arabic but dont understand a word of it.

Learning a bit of French (used to know a lot) as working for a french company you come across a lot of french people aparently

the chinese only use english names when they have to speak to someone who uses english, they dont do it as standard.

You will find that in a lot of countries people will use their english translation for their name when speaking to someone who uses english.

Some countries will also use the english word for things when they dont have one in their language, it is very common practise. And it isnt just foreign tongues that will do this, english borrows from many different languages, for instance the use of 'mayday' in air travel. This come from the french m'aider, which is help. There is also pan-pan medico used in the marine world to indicate a medical problem. There are also a host of other words we use that are taken from latin and greek.
