lol...

mine was a metalic green renault with elec wind sunroof the works...on the old mans insurance of course. the reason its so memorable is because once reversing i knocked it into the back of another car. anyway it left a big hole in the boot. took it to a m8 who waz a mechanic. the guy to save me money, took a box of cotnflakes open it up and placed it under the carpet to cover the boot. then he got under the car and paited the cardboard black with the stuff the put under cars. still wonder to this day wat happd to it. if any1 had put anythin heave on the cardboard bit of the boot...well it would't of been there wen he got home

I was also 19 when I got my first car. (18 yrs ago) It was a Morris Marina, mustard colour.
I paid £100 for it, the clutch was on it's way out, but luckily I had a brother 'n' law who knew how to chang it. I loved that car, but later upgraded to a MK5 cortina (bright yellow) so I let me brother have it.

I think it was about 50 or 60 quid - an Austin A30, in the early 70's.

My wife and I bought it - it was before we were married - and we were the only ones among our group of friends who had a car. So the poor little thing was always jammed full of people.

Mine was a Seat Ibiza in 1992. I paid £1400 for it. I thought it was the best car on the road. Looking back now, I'm surprised it never fell to bits on the drive home from the garage.

£10 for a K reg Ford Sierra about 5 years ago. A guy my dad knew wanted to get rid of anything of any value so his wife couldn't get any money out of him while they were getting divorced.

Was my dad's car but I traded my car with him. Mine was a Saab 9000 I traded a really old computer for with some guy who just wanted to get rid of the thing.

mk 1 ford escort paid £80 for it heap of 5hit but i was only 17 and i loved it.

MK2 Golf 1.3 C reg...paid £900 almost 9 years ago. Cooling system leaked while on motorway and blew the gasket. Still got me to work and back. Repaired gasket then it got nicked. Found it without sound system or alloys but found all the cats that live in the area. Inside the car!. I didn't want it back after that. But odd thing is the insurance company went to retrieve it from the lane but it had dissapeared. Stolen again, this time it had no wheels. Weird people out there.

vauxhall Astra Meit M reg, still got it altho the bro in laws driving it now. paid £2200 for it, worth about £400 now but still running strong.
