somewhere with my tool set, looking for Action ;)
just wanted to see what sort of cars people drive nowadays to get an idea on what to buy next.

any comments are appreciated i.e good and bad points. what mods youve done if any.

ill start off, ive got an Audi A4, 1.8T sports at the moment.

good points: unlimited mods available. soon getting a turbo upgrade also will be upgrading to porsche brakes! excellent road handling, comfort and its remapped so its fast too.

bad points: control arms are a pain in the arse but ill be upgrading to the heavy duty ones which are better than standard audi.

thanks

Ive just getting a new shape vectra 2.2 elite its a pure dream to drive and the toys on it is unreal but its s**t slow :( but its good on fuel and comfy as hell so im happy with it.i had a 2.6 gsi vectra before it and that was quick so thats maybie why it feels slow lol i had it remapped and decatted with stainless exhaust lightend and balanced flywheel ect sort of regreting getting rid of her now though only thing i dont miss was the boot space the saloon models didnt have much of a boot and having 3 kids its a must lol.

Ford Focus Zetec.

Runs on fresh air :) - Really hard to get the back end to step out, so can easily go round a roundabout at 30. Go through quite afew tyres though :(

Renault Laguna Authentic 16V.

Good points: Nice car to drive and plenty of room all round.

Bad points: The keycard! What a feckin' stupid idea that was?

I suppose they have to monopoly on peeps having to pay through the nose to get them fixed. Well peeps that can't fix them?

I on the other hand work in a factory with lots of ladies that can solder to a very high standard so get mine fixed for free :)

The other fault is the seatbelts locking out when fully extended. They just don't retract correctly now :(. I assume this is a Renault fault as my Megane was the same?

Next Car: Probably go for the new Mazda 6? Not too sure though.

Vauxhall Zafira 1.6

I hate it.

I bought it as I needed a people carrier and it was cheap, build quality is awful, the internal fixtures literally fall apart in my hands, it has no power, it drinks oil at an alarming rate.

I hate it.

Audi A4 2.8 V6 Quattro

Love it.

Good points:
Speed
Handling - when buying audi always go for quattro
Motorway i can get 600 miles from full tank. (62 litres)
VERY reliable
comfort - full leather and climate control helps lol
Bad points:
City driving - drinks petrol like hell
VERY expensive parts
Suspension - i heard this, not given me problem yet
everything is computerised and not all mechanics have the system when it needs diagnosing.

next car: will keep this for a while but if i changed it would be for the audi a6 2.7T. heard good things about it.

I have got a 1988 Micra with 28.5K on the clock! Bought it back in March and been a great runabout. Immaculate body work, just another five years till classic car status! haha!

Had a Peugeot 306 before my Focus,

Gearbox dropped out after 8 months :D Was in such a bad condition they couldmt even send it for recon.

m8 of mine had EXACTLY the same problem.....but his lasted 13 months lol

Never never again will I buy a French car. I want to go back to Golf's - even a MKII would make me smile again, or a black Corrado.

Dump a VR6 in it and kill mysen.....w00000000000000

Really considering a Skoda though, get allot for your money and they simply don't go wrong. vRS - stick some piss taking stickers inside, Shit Skoda etc :)

corsa 1.2 sxi twinport

its ok for a first car

good points
