wharfedale tv dvd problem

hi all i have a wharfedale 19in tv dvd lcd tv , the dvd has stopped working all i get now when i put a dvd in the slot is no disc , is it terminal or is there a cure thats not going to cost me more than the tv is worth ,help regards len

It's probably the laser in the DVD drive thats packed up, you can either try cleaning the lens or just buy a cheap DVD player to hook up to the TV.
