watching AVI on DBox

I want to view AVI files on my PC via the DBox but dont want to stream via VLC - another other method where as I can share a share on my PC and navigate the folder on the DBox and play the AVI file.

the dbox dosnt have he processing power to decode, only other way rather than stream would be to convert the movie to TS format

As Renwich pointed out the dbox dosnt have the processing power. Your best option is to pick up a cheap xbox 360 and then you can stream as many divx and even hd mkv`s to your large screen although the later needs a little bit of fiddling for now.

got a XBox with XBMC so will still use that to watch my AVI's.
