Hi
I have searched all over for a solution to my problem, and wondered if any of you could advise?
Earlier this week, my daughter updated our Pal 'Wiikey' modded Wii with version 3.3E via our Pal version Mario Kart.
I straightaway established that most if not all of our backups (which all worked perfectly before) now dont load, this I have read is due to the iso's being in Trucha format.
All my originals work, and the wii menus etc are all in place, so I guess it's not bricked.
I did some research, and now have the Homebrew Channel loaded on my Wii using the Twilight Hack on a SD card.
(I made sure the Hack was the latest one that is modified for 3.3).
I also added Geckos Region Free Program, which I was led to believe, should enable the loading of these 'Trucha Discs'.
The Region Free loads, but when I press A to load the game, it goes to an error message, which requires me to eject the disc or reset the Wii.
This applies to every game I have tried, not one of them will boot using this method.
I wasn't sure if I should disable the Region Free option via my Wiikey Config Disk - 1.4, so i tried that as well - in fact i disabled most of the Wiikey options then tried all my games again, but it made no difference.
Anyway to recap - I have a 3.3E version which refuses to boot any of my games that were working the day before the update.
Plus the known fix that I was hoping would help using the Homebrew Channel/Gecko, doesn't work for me.
Is there anyway you can tell if an iso is 'Trucha' or not, or can it be removed?
If not, has anyone any idea if there is any prospect in the near future, of being able to rollback this 3.3 firmware to a previous version?
Or - any other suggestions on how I can get my games working again?
Advice appreciated
