Wanted-Social Networking site software

Hope somebody can help me please.

Me and my mate want to start a Social Networking site but cant find a template anywhere

does anybody know where i can obtain one for free?

any help would be much appreciated the name of our site is going to be called boltonfacebook.com

this is a pretty big application, designed to make money from advertising. I am not sure you will be able to pick up a good free version due to this. http://elgg.org/ appears to be a commercial version, and there are a few open source ones here: http://mashable.com/2007/07/25/open-source-social-platforms/

Would a forum be no good at all? It is highly likely that there are some plugins etc that can let you acheive certain aspects of facebook etc.
