VU+ Duo vu plus duo clone no epg

Hi folks,
I recently swapped a zgemmastar s2 fully set up for a vu plus duo which I later found out is a clone.
Not too bothered about it being a clone as he didn't know either. After many flashes and getting the red light with the box saying starting I figured it must be a clone and flashed it with a clone image. This worked but the image was terrible and I have no experience with vu duo and I also couldn't get the EPG to download. It also wont allow me to download plugins. Is this because the box is a clone and are there any images where this wont happen?

Is it a Ferrari VU+?Is it a V2 or V3?Should have a sticker some where?Have a look here for images for a clone:

Has a sticker on it saying v3.5 and has spelt duo as 'dou' which is probably a dead giveaway that its a clone.

Ah,didn't realise they've moved on.All i can suggest is try one of the clone images and take it from there
