@ AtmelAce

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a go.........

P.s. would i be right in thinking that we are forcing an address on address bus to bring up said required data on data bus? if so how is the clock stopped so other address's arnt flying across bus?

Hats off to whoever came up with volt method. Brilliantly simple!!!!
Easyer with logic probe but even so it works.

OK. I've done it the bk looked very odd full of ff's & fe's but it worked...
but when i made card and put it on the flashing light (no talkin back) was on at first then it went off. On first power up it didn,t work, then when i tryed eng. menu it updated and came on with new blue menus e.t.c. but the flashing light was not on, my sammy flashes all the time is the 1000 different? Also my new type remote did not work and i had no batts for the old one is this right?

Yes, you're forcing an address onto the flash chips then reading the data. The mod forces a cpu reset, and sets the flash chips into word mode.
