1. It is Video On Demand. Basically, whenever you request a PPV film or event, your box makes a connection with the cable company, and the feed is piped directly to the box. This means that you have control over when it starts, or if you need to pause it, etc..
2. It's the one thing that has stopped us from receiving PPV films. :feck:
