VLC playing pc files to DBox

Finally got films playing from pc thru vlc to dbox. However starting vlc thru xp shortcut i can't get a connection from dbox. Only by using the command prompt window and get into the vlc directory and using --extraintf=http command to execute the programme then it works. This is a bit long winded does Liams vlcloader.exe work? the link to this is now dead - can anyone upload it plz

Solution

right click the short cut and select properties
In the target field put
"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --extraintf=http"
Press ok
