i keep getting virtual memory minimum too low ,can it be increased or replaced,any help welcome.

Configuring Virtual Memory

Virtual memory, also known as a page file or swap file, is a file on your hard drive (C:\pagefile.sys by default) that Windows and applications use in addition to physical memory (RAM) as needed. The default and recommended size of this file is 1.5 times the amount of physical memory. Virtual memory is the sum of physical memory and the page file. So if your computer has 512 MB RAM, it will have a 768 MB page file by default, for a total of 1.25 GB of physical + virtual memory.
To do this in Windows XP, open the "Control Panel" window and double-click on the "System" icon. The system dialog window will open. Click on the "Advanced" tab and then click on the "Settings" button in the "Performance" section. Click on the "Advanced" tab and then click on the "Change" button in the "Virtual Memory" section.
There you can set memory amount or system managed and the HDD location. Make sure to choose a HDD with plenty of free space.

no m80 xp. it comes on every so often and i click it off

I was wondering how much RAM you have. if you are eating up a lot of virtual memory your PC most likely will benefit from a RAM upgrade.
