anyone ever had this prob
thinking its got to be the router ? my Samsung tablet stopped connecting to the net when i go into network settings network not there
showing networks on houses next door
but every thing else in the house is connected mob fire stick vu zero ect ? took the tablet across the road to several bars and connected straight away
take it back home no network ?

Try re-setting your network settings on your tablet

What router have you got?
Would it be worth doing a factory reset on that too?
Or trying a different channel...
So are you saying if you cross the road then it will connect to your router?

No m8 the tablet dose not see my router but if will see my next door nabours router if I asked him for the password it would connect ? When I said across the road I was in a bar with an open WiFi connection

Have pressed the reset button on the router no joy ? Realy scratching my head now ?

Very strange indeed.
I think pressing the reset button your router will just do a soft reset.
You need to goto into the admin page a do a full restore...

You type in the web admin page address into your web browser.
Depending what router its normaly 192.168.0 1 or 192.168.1.1

Then you will beed to enter the user/password to enter the web admin page.

From there you can do a full factory restore and manage wifi passwords etc.

would not connect to router ? few pics might give a clue ? thanks for looking

Sorted after tralling the internet found a suggestion
Press and hold off button and volume down button together
It rebooted and lo and behold found server ? Don't know why
Spent a good hour or more on a chat to Samsung tech team
Things I did trying to get this on which didn't work and yet
A simple thing which I came across the supposedly technical team never knew that on :(

Great stuff mate.
That is a hard reset.
I had to do it once on my galaxy s7 to get my GPS working again.
But in your case who would of thought that would of worked when you could connect to other networks...

Thought I would add to this might be of use for someone else if they have this problem----like I said after a hard boot it worked for one day then lost network again after several more hard boot nothing
I decided to get the net provider to come and look at the router which they did they where scratching there heads the tech guys plugged the router it into his laptop and reset it he explained routers are in levels from auto to 1 to 13 he said my router had been set for some reason to 13 set it to auto and bingo on ever since :)
