who built that pathway? they must have been the bravest people ever, and how the hell did solo get his tag up over there?

Originally built in 1901, this walkway now serves as an aproach to makinodromo, the famous climbing sector of El Chorro.

Built in the 1920s for the workers engaged in building the hydro-electric system on the dam, it is named for King Alfonso XIII of Spain who is reported to have inspected the construction from the walkway.
 
Takes a very brave person, harness or not, to walk that walk. I was amazed at how many others were there and how relaxed they all looked about it.

Absolutely breath taking.
