quite easy really,Get an m3u file off your iptv provider and open it in note pad,Then save the file as Webtv.m3u,You can then upload to box via webtv

I tried this but the .m3u file has to be written by the server with "no options" otherwise each channel will just say "no name" all 4000 of them

Depends on what type file the provider sends you,You can use a converter to add the channels names

It was a .m3u with all the channels in one list all unnamed thats until he selected "no options"

You have to make sure the m3u is in the format exactly as the document provided above.
On openbox using WebTV you can use either .txt or .m3u extension as long as it is called WebTV.txt or WebTV.m3u

Get a decent supplier and it will have all the names sorted

There should be no need for an app.
The problem is your supplier doesnt know how to run a panel
(MPEGTS) default then a couple of we things after that will do the trick.

Wouldnt waste my time on it also.
Crap on V8s.

Have a look here....
Run IPTV on openbox V8s
