using satellite and a dbox

I recently moved into a new house which has a satellite installed if I use a dbox 2 or any other box will I pick up all the channels on sky like sky one.

straight away, no you won't as sky channels are encrypted.

you can get a satellite box and get somefree channels, but this is essentially freeview on satellite.

as said already you cant hack sky via sat,check out the sat section though mate there is some great info on motorised dishes and frees sat its dfo worth a read
