ok Ive bought a cable to attach my pc to my 40" lcd tv and what a nice picture...the problem is i can only seem to get sound from my speakers and not from my tv...can any 1 help me or tell me what i have to do?

Have you got a cable coming from the sound card of the pc to the audio in socket on the television ?

VGA/15 pin D-Sub doesn't carry audio. HDMI on the otherhand does.

If using VGA there should be an audio input on the TV for sound. If there isn't one marked PC or PC audio try the left and right channels for the composite and component inputs.
