Putty sometimes running linux in vmware can be a pain , use this program to connect to your vmware box

it gives you a SSH connection instead I find using this I can copy and paste commands easier

Use this to extract bits from images, without having to flash the image onto your box

so if we use the new tuxbox tool dose that mean we can play about with the image with out haveing to put it on the box every time say build it up as the steps say to then flash at the end to box or am i thing about this the whole wrong way

With the tuxboxflash you can see the file structure of a JFFS image and extract files as required - you still need to build/mod the image on a dbox
