Usb To 9 Pin Serial Laptop Programmer Problem

Hi Guys N Gals,,
Looking For Sum Help Here.just Bought The Party Pack From Tailormade Cicrcuits.i Am Using An Hp Laptop So Have To Use The Usb To Serial Adapter ....however,,,,i Dont Know How To Configure It To Work With My Card Readers Origrammers Etc..can Anyone Help With This Or Tell Me If Its Poss To Buy And Use A 15 Pin Vga To 9 Pin Rs232 Cable And Use This To Run My Proggy's.... Any Help Appreciated

I would imagine that you can convert by using a DB15 pin to DB9 pin gender/converter plug and then you defo can get a 9pin DB9/serial/Rs232 to USB cable. But not really knowing your product, maybe you could give us a link to a site, this is just a quick response but should technically be ok

Lots of the stuff on fleabay and elsewhere on the net. But you could also get this stuff from a local Maplins if you have one, or even a PCWorld at an exorbident price no doubt.

Anyone Else Know If The 15 Pin Vga To 9 Pin Converser Will Work With Phoenix Programmers Etc

The 15-pin Vga output wont convert to 9-pin serial. The vga output is video only and you need data communication, totally different.
