i have usb infinity unlimited
when i put my cable card and then switch to nagrsedit all i get is this

which means i can't get into data editor to change keys

Infinity USB Unlimited is all you need to upload/read files to/from your card, just use RST Generator add your bk and ird numbers , select area you need and click generate.

BK can also be obtained from the box, plz use search I think its where the scart lead is connected.

bk is jtag method which is a last resort for me

i do apologies your right thats IRD, to obtain BK you need to ask someone with the database to check if your ird is in the list

I am only trying to help..with my limited knowledge regarding this subject

could be a "driver" or "hardware issue" on your machine m8 {more than likely you will read the card on a diffrent pc}---------setifs failed could be something or nothing --------------if the buffer in the card is knackered you will get this error message your card sounds ok to me {try it on another machine or reinstall the drivers and software -----it could be the voltage from your usb port as well

make sure that you have nagra edit running in win98 compatability mode, i had the same results as you and thats what the prob was
