usb dongle

hi,

does a usb dongle exist so that i can plug it in my pc and it will show the directory's of another network location, as it was stored on the pen drive itself?

i.e. i have a dvd player with usb port and supports playing avi's etc off local storage.

be nice to plug device in, which is wirelessly connected to my pc so i can share files etc?

wont work m8 as the dvd player wont have the drivers for the usb wireless dongle
