Guys

Thanks to my 1 yr old now beginning to view my PC as an exploratory wonderland I have decided the time to go wireless is upon me !

I have a Netgear router from Sky and am looking to get a USB 2.0 wireless connection

I have seen Netgears at 54mbps and 108mbps

Is the difference noticeable (since price is double)

Any recommendations?

Cheers for the help !

I not sure wether there is a noticable difference in the speeds.

I would go for the cheaper option and then at some point in the future update to wifi-n.

none of them are gunna beat a wired gigabit network tho.

If your laptop is more than 12 months or so old then it is unlikely to support higher than 54 anyway, only a handful of new ones today do even.

Try to find a DELL 1450 Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter on ebay if your PC is XP. Great range.
