Urgent Help Needed Pls....

I have a problem with my Pace DITV 1000 phase 1b digibox.. i had a power cut earlier today and since the power came back on all its doin is displying "8888" along with the 3 green lights down the side..Whats wrong and how can i get it sorted...

All I can think is to take out the simm board and give the contacts a good clean with a pencil rubber , and give the socket a good blow out , night be full of dust and crap.

as above try the simm if not you may need to reflow the atmels too

8888's sounds like either a dry atty joint or corrupt data ie power loss while it was doing a SW download.
Try a forced update (4321) if you can get into the EM
or
Try reflowing the attys.
If not then they will need re programming with a working ph1b dump.

ok im new to all this so what do u mean by forced update (4321) ........as for re-programming i got the box and card of a frends frend so i wouldnt know where to start or where to get the software etc for it...
